PERSONNEL Jay Natelson founded
the firm in 1974 after eleven years' experience with the real estate
consulting division of Booz, Allen and Hamilton. Now retired from active
consulting practice, he continues to provide strategic guidance to the
firm on key projects. Mr. Natelson received his bachelor's degree cum laude from Princeton University and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. He served three years as a U.S. Naval Air Intelligence Officer in the air arm of the Sixth Fleet prior to completing his master's degree. Roger
A. Dale, Managing Principal, is responsible for executive management of
the firm's projects. He provides a vast range of economic and
financial analyses, and has a highly visible role in presenting
projects in public forums. Mr. Dale received his B.A. cum laude in Economics from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He also holds a master's degree in Resource and Environmental Economics from the University of California at Riverside. Jun
Y. Lee, Esq. provides strategic direction on legal
and policy matters. Mr. Lee is instrumental in structuring
development agreements and environmental permits, and
leads the firm's work related to mitigation land banking. Mr. Lee received his B.A. in Government and International Relations from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He also holds a Juris Doctor degree from the Columbus School of Law, The Catholic University of America, Washington, D.C. Joseph
McClure, AICP, Senior Associate, provides critical economic and land use
analysis, financial modeling, and detailed research of complex
issues. He has over 25 years' experience in economic development
consulting. Mr. McClure has an M.S. in Urban Planning, in a program that emphasized regional economics, from the University of Arizona and completed additional post graduate work in economic geography at UA. Alan
Levenson, Senior Associate, brings to TNDG an academic background in economic
theory with particular emphasis on economic development. He manages
a diverse range of real estate and economic development studies
for the firm.
Walter Van Patten, Senior Associate, directs the firm's projects in the Asia Pacific region. Mr. Van Patten has lived in Asia for the past 20 years and is currently based in Shanghai, China. He has been involved in the master planning and permitting of major development projects in China, Taiwan and Vietnam. vanpatten@natelsondale.com Mr. Van Patten received his B.A. in Asian Studies from Claremont McKenna College in Claremont, California. He is fluent in Mandarin and has a working knowledge of Vietnamese. |
